Figuratively, that is.
Compared to back in the day – we’re talking 1983, when pixel-based games were revolutionary and 2D was all we had – this reboot of Spy Hunter certainly appears to be revving up the action and giving the franchise a fresh new look and feel.
The new trailer was released for GamesCom, and shows off just what you’d hope to see: Really fast driving, explosions, a James-Earl-Jones-type narrator, more explosions, retro tunes, and did we mention explosions?
There isn’t a whole lot more known about the title, but at this point, it doesn’t particularly matter. The game is coming in October, so we’ll likely have more details in the very near future.
