Earlier this year, Zen Pinball 2 was released and subsequently delayed before hitting North America. Wii U and Star Wars fans were bummed that they were missing out on the Star Wars tables DLC, but thankfully it’s almost time to turn that frown upside-down!
Yep, despite the fact that you’ve been able to play the game on every other platform for quite awhile now, Star Wars Pinball is going to hit the Wii U as a standalone game on July 11th in North America (and Europe).
The game will be priced at $9.99, and includes three tables: Boba Fett, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. There’ll be a few additional features to make the game worth its salt, and players will have the option of choosing between playing for the Rebel Alliance or the Empire.
There are also leaderboards for your XP, and the features you’re familiar with for the GamePad—such as off-TV play, or a dot matrix display on the screen.
