In a sea of games on Kickstarter, how do you know which one to back? Well, presumably the one that has a good concept and which can demonstrate that they will actually deliver on the potential inherent in their campaign.
Timespinner from Lunar Ray Games looks like it’s set to be one of the crowdfunding success stories of 2014, with a Kickstarter campaign that has surpassed its $50,000 to hit the stretch goal for… yes, that’s right, the 3DS.
There are three days left in the campaign, but at $115,000 there will definitely be a 3DS version of the game, which is good news for those of you who enjoy Castlevania-style games. The inspiration from the aforementioned series is quite clear in the footage we’ve seen, so we’re anticipating a fun, 2D game that hits all the sweet spots.
The game is, of course, a pixel tribute reminiscent of the SNES days. It looks like this title will feature a gothic castle, solid gameplay, and a great story to boot. Check it out!
