Today’s Nintendo Direct dropped some news that had Mario Kart fans gaping in awe at their screens—because 150cc is no longer the fastest speed for the best players. Nope, it’s not. You thought Rainbow Road was difficult at 150cc?
How about trying it at 200cc?
Oh yes, it’s happening. On April 23rd, Mario Kart 8 is getting a DLC update that adds a 200cc mode. It’ll be faster, harder, dizzier, and doubtlessly more frustrating… and will test your ability to drift and to deal with that rubberband AI without throwing the GamePad across the room to the limits.
