Anticipation for Splatoon on the Wii U is building with each subsequent announcement about this title, and we won’t have to wait much longer for it—it releases on May 29th. It has been lightly bandied about online that this particular title could be one that helps to revive the Wii U console… and Nintendo certainly isn’t going to discourage that in any way. This means a hardware bundle is on the horizon, and this time around it’s exclusive to Best Buy.
The Splatoon Wii U hardware bundle will come with a 32GB system, a download code for Splatoon, and Nintendo Land pre-loaded. The bundle will retail for $299.99, and at the time of writing, you’ll have to make the pre-order in store as it’s not yet on the website.
The amiibo for Splatoon Wii U won’t be included in this particular bundle, so if you’re interested in the bonuses those handy little figures have to offer, you’ll have to buy them separately.
