o years ago, platinum members of Club Nintendo, meaning you managed to amass 600 or more coins in a July-June time frame registering games and systems and taking surveys, you were sent a pretty nice Mario hat. Last year, a great 7 character figurine in a question mark box.
So, what do the Nintend
o faithful get this year? Well the semi-faithful get a calendar, which is no surprise to anyone, but after the last two years all of us platinum members were pretty excited. Now I don’t want to sound down on Nintendo for giving me something for spending a bit of time giving them faulty demographic information, but the reward is pins. Yes, pins. Now, don’t get me wrong, they’re pretty cool looking pins. And there’s a neat box that you can rearrange. But that’s it. Come on Nintendo, I know you’re spending money on developing the Wii U, but pins?
