Konami has announced today that their upcoming entry in the Pro Evolution Soccer series will be gaining some kind of ‘companion project’ in what they have dubbed myPES.
Now, what exactly is myPES? The details will be revealed at Gamescom, but given that it’s being developed by a german group called argonauten G2 who seem to work in graphics and publicity, I would assume that it’s some kind of social media/stat tracking type of thing, in the vein of Halo Waypoint or the upcoming Call of Duty Elite. If soccer is your (and your mates) thing, this is something to keep an eye on.
PES 2012 is coming out October 14th for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, with Wii version to follow.
