Wait, you wanted GAMES for your 3DS? Fine!

So the 3DS press conference just wrapped up, and what did we get?  Redesign? Circle Pad news? A crapload of games?

So, let’s run down a list of the games that were announced or mentioned.  Be prepared, it’s lengthy:

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition – Free Download on 3DS/DSi September 28th

Mario Tennis – 2012

Super Mario 3D Land – release unchanged

Mario Kart 7 – release unchanged

Paper Mario – 2012

Luigi’s Mansion 2 – 2012

Mario and Sonic at the Olympics: London 2012 – 2012

Animal Crossing – 2012

Spirit Camera – 2012 (An AR game from the Zero series team at Tecmo)

Style Savvy – 2012 (A fashion game to go with the pink 3DS I think)

Fire Emblem – 2012

Samurai Warriors – 2012

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy – 2012 (New RPG from Square Enix)

SD Gundam Generation G 3D – Dec 22 in Japan (Includes the latest from Gundam Age)

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai – 2012 (No WAY this is getting a NA release)

Resident Evil:Revelations – Early 2012

Rocket Slime – November 2nd in Japan

Ace Combat 3D: Cross Rumble – First Ace Combat release for Nintendo

Tekken 3D: Prime Edition

Final Fantasy Music Game

Love Plus – December 8th in Japan

Gals RPG: Cindere Life – An RPG, doubtful it’ll get a NA release

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D – Winter release

Kid Icarus: Uprising – January to March 2012 in Japan

3D Anime from guys like Production IG and Studio 4F

Monster Hunter 3G – Bigger and better story, awesome 3D, Dec 10 in Japan

Monster Hunter 4 – ???

Wow…. not a bad list, eh?  Iwata closed with saying that they were aware the 3DS didn’t please all gamers, which is why they’re stepping it up.  Interestingly enough the DS was owned by a majority of females, and the 3DS is currently owned by a majority of males, so they’re working on balancing that up.  Style games and a pink 3DS… hope they’ve got more up their sleeves than that!
