Another Japanese Cancellation – 3DS TV

Poor Japan! First the Aqua Blue 3DS, now their 3DS TV video service. Japanese consumers have been watching a video service called Itsu no Ma ni Terebi since June 2011, where they received regular, exclusive content via SpotPass. But, just like they did with the previous Wii video service, Nintendo Japan has pulled the plug on the 3DS content.

The service will close on June 20th after a year of videos, accessed by over a million people since launch. The content on the channel has presented such offerings as magic classes, animal footage, and a girl-band doing challenges in a show called Idoling Sumo 3DS.
