Cloudberry Kingdom, by Pwnee Studios, will reportedly be the most difficult Wii U download game….but the developer needs to actually finish the game first. Pwnee Studios needs both time and money to make this happen… and to solve the second problem, like so many other smaller game studios, they’ve turned to Kickstarter.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, Kickstarter has been recently used by a lot of smaller and indie game developers to basically allow their fans to essentially “pre-order” upcoming games and fund them at the same time. For Cloud Berry Kingdom, $15 will get you the regular edition and $30 or more will give you a special edition that will have more enemies, levels and game modes.
The game is due out on the Wii U digital store this December, but the Kickstarter ends on May 26th, but at the pace they are going right now, it looks like they might have trouble hitting their goal.
