Inazuma Eleven Strikers Rolls into Europe

Now, that’s not certain, but Level-5 has just registered a trademark for the game in the European market. That sounds like good news for fans of the two Inazuma Eleven games for the DS!

Even though Inazuma Eleven Strikers was released in Japan in July 2011 for the Wii, it’s better late than never going elsewhere. The Wii version is similar to the DS game in blending RPG elements with football (soccer, for North American readers), but it also includes voiced dialogue for the characters, better-looking models, and other fun things that enhance the Wii experience.

Will the series ever make it to North America, is the next question… but assuming sales of the series are good elsewhere, enough interest (and revenue) may encourage Nintendo to cross the pond with the titles.
