Er… as unappealing as that title sounds (it sounded better in my head, honest), 2K’s acclaimed NBA 2K series is coming to the Wii U as one of the system’s launch titles. Based on previous Nintendo launches, that means we’ll see it anytime between release and up to three months afterward.
Now, if you’re willing to wait for it on the new system, that’s okay – the game will come to the Wii on October 2nd. Because of how highly rated this sports series has been in the past, virtual sports fans will likely find plenty to be happy about in this announcement.
Some of the features in this instalment are: pitting current NBA players against classic players in several modes, and dynamic updates to the All-Stars roster as the 2013 NBA All-Star Game players are announced in RL.
