Japan Gets Project X Zone This October

We’ve mentioned Project X Zone on this site before, and now it appears that Japan’s release date for the game will be on October 11th of this year.

Project X Zone, in case you missed it, is an RPG mash-up that features many beloved characters from the franchises of Namco Bandai, Capcom, and SEGA. There’s been a lot of hype surrounding this game, and players in Japan have been privy to teaser details about things like battle mechanics, which characters are featured in the game, and hints about the in-game music content.

Since confirmation of the release date, there’s also been a reveal that there are two new characters appearing in the game, named Mii Ouryuuji and Kogoro.

Sadly, there’s still no word on a worldwide release, but we’ll keep our ears open on this one.
