Regular updates for the 3DS continue, with today’s system update giving us 4.3.0-10U in North America and Europe. If you haven’t received the notice, or don’t manually get in there and activate the update, you’ll likely get the notice soon through SpotPass, along with prompts git ‘er done.
And no, this update doesn’t add colors or anything exciting to the folders, like many bloggers out there have been hoping for. Instead, this is a basic security upgrade, which all told isn’t a bad thing.
You’ll get a vague message about what’s happening on the Nintendo of America website: “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”
Yeah, yeah. But that likely means the update will block the new and improved methods out there of stealing content on 3DS systems. While we haven’t noticed any particular “enhancements to the user experience” just yet, we’ll keep you posted.
