Have you seen the new Rayman Legends trailer? There’s an interesting little tidbit at the end—an announcement that the game is a Wii U exclusive.
Speculation that the game might become an exclusive was deflected back in June during Joystiq’s interview with Ubisoft’s interview with Michael Micholic, who said that the company was “not really saying it’s a Wii U exclusive.”
O rly? Based on the trailer, we’re thinking that Nintendo and Ubisoft may have secured a deal after all, though no official announcement has been made from either company (beyond what you see in the trailer).
Regardless, that’s not going to stop fans and new players alike from enjoying this Rayman game. The trailer shows Rayman and his froggy friend navigating new obstacles and puzzles, and coming up against a ticklish monster.
When can you play this maybe-exclusive-to-Wii U-at-least-it-certainly-looks-like-it title? Christmas 2012.
