Gaaah! Why must they taunt us so?!
Look, regardless of whether these newest rumors are truth or not, Nintendo fans are still sitting on the edge of their seats hoping for information that we thought we’d be getting last week. The latest rumor, straight from Go Nintendo (www.gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id184672), comes from a posting on VDP (Video Product Distributors). Why is that important? VDP is a distribution company that supplies products for places like Amazon and Blockbuster.
Now, while we can’t get into the site to double check the info (apparently it needs a special login to access the content), the rumor is that the site has this information listed:
Wii U System (GM) – 11/11/12 $249.99
Wii U System W/ (GM) – 11/11/12 $299.99
Wii U System 349 W/ (GM) – 11/11/12 $349.99
So that’s all three SKUs releasing on November 11th. Supposedly. If you want to see the original webite footage, be sure to click through to Go Nintendo’s article, where they have a link to it through yet another website’s reporting.
What the two pricier Wii U models contain is another question we’re kicking around over here… our guesses are: an extra GamePad (or two?), game bundle, or maybe even a peripheral we haven’t considered yet.
Is this the real life? Or is it just fantasy? Caught in a landslide… er, that is, a landslide of rumors. So far. We’re crossing our fingers that something… anything… will be confirmed soon.
