Do you love science? Who doesn’t love science! Especially geek science, because it tends to involve taking something really cool and turning it into something even cooler.
The most recent example comes from tech savvy folks at North Street Labs in Virginia. Because zapping digital ducks on-screen wasn’t enough for them, they took it one step further… and turned a light gun into a real, functioning laser gun.
They opened up the unit, stripped just about everything (leaving only the trigger and an electric switch) and rigged up a laser within the Zapper casing.
And guess what? It’s powerful enough to burn through walls. Yes, you read that correctly. And in the video they released, they explain how you can build your own lethal ray gun! Huzzah! Just what every good Nintendo collection needs. Why throw your Wiimote when you can just zap the TV with your death ray?
