Try Before You Buy at Wii U Kiosks

If you head into one of 5,000 select stores across North America this month, you may see a rather large, glowing booth with a Wii U sign on top… that’s the trial kiosk! It allows consumers to try the Wii U before deciding to purchase, and you’ll be able to find these booths at Best Buy, WalMart, Toys R Us, GameStop, and Target in the United States.

Some of the games on display for trying out the system are New Super Mario Bros. U, ZombiU, and Nintendo Land, among others. The downside is that only some of these kiosks are truly “try before you buy”, with some only containing video content to show off the Wii U and presumably answer some questions.

With 13 days left to go to convince you to buy a Wii U, Nintendo is trying to pull out all the stops… will you look for a kiosk or send a friend to one?

Dave will tell you that he likes to play video games, this is in fact a lie. What he really likes to do is buy games, and leaving them sitting unopened on his shelf. He is a monster.
