Project X Zone Battling Through the World This Summer

Remember Project X Zone? Last year, this crossover game featuring characters from SEGA, Capcom, and Namco Bandai franchises was highly anticipated by gamers around the world—though they found themselves left out of the party when it saw a Japan-only release. However, the underwhelming sales of the game in Japan left the rest of the world with little hope to see the strategy-RPG across the shores.

All that is going to change this summer. In news that has surprised everyone, Namco Bandai has announced the title will be coming to PAL regions and North America in Summer 2013. While no release date has been given, no doubt gamers who had hopes for this one will be willing to wait.

Developer Monolith Soft and Banpresto are bringing this one to the 3DS, with over 50 playable characters from 29 game franchises. Naturally, it’s a gaming fan’s dream come true—and it’s happening this summer!

Dave will tell you that he likes to play video games, this is in fact a lie. What he really likes to do is buy games, and leaving them sitting unopened on his shelf. He is a monster.
