If you’ve ever wondered what life looks like from a Pikmin’s perspective (and who hasn’t? …oh, wait…), you won’t have to wait long to find out. In the Wii U Direct presentation this week, we learned that Pikmin 3 will have a camera mode that allows players to get all the way down to teeny-tiny height and see the world from one of these little critters’ viewpoints.
While there still hasn’t been a firm release date announced for Pikmin 3, the idea of using the Wii U GamePad to take photos from a Pikmin’s perspective sounds like a lot of fun—and a good way to get players to feel a little more sympathetic to their poor little group of following fellows.
And of course, players will be able to share their images in the Miiverse.
