Crazy Coaster Deluxe Loop-De-Loops Onto Wii U eShop

Frontier Developments has confirmed their title Crazy Coaster Deluxe for the Wii U eShop, and if the title sounds familiar, that’s because it is. The first Crazy Coaster game was an iOS game, though the developer is known by Nintendo fans by the brains behind WiiWare’s two LostWinds games as well as Atari’s RollerCoaster Tycoon 3.

The new game shakes things up a bit, though the basic concept is the same: Keep the “crazies” entertained with your great rides, but doing so fast enough to achieve the points goal lest a Zombie infect them.

Yes, it’s over the top ridiculous, but you’ll still have plenty of coaster-creating action in the ten areas to play. You’ll also have a sandbox mode and daily challenges, as well as an online leaderboard. Players use the GamePad screen to create, and moving the controlled around changes views while you’re on a coaster.

You can also shake the controller, but we don’t want to spoil THAT lovely surprise for you.

While a price and release date haven’t yet been announced, it’s coming soon—and you can see some of the upcoming game in the trailer below!

Faith likes games and books and cake and writing and Lara Croft, not necessarily in that order. She also thinks a Skylanders cartoon show is a really, REALLY good idea...
