The next entry in the Scribblenauts game franchise will be heading to the Wii U and 3DS this September, with a PC version being the only other platform to receive the upcoming title. Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure will be the first of the Scribblenauts games to feature licensed characters, meaning that its success will likely determine whether we’ll see an ongoing slew of these types of titles in the near future.
That said, anticipation for the game is building steadily. With over 2000 characters and character versions promised in-game (14 Supermans! 130 Green Lanterns?!), Warner Bros. has now confirmed that the release date for the game will be September 24th in North America (no European release date yet).
