Spin the Bottle Confirmed for August

One of the strangest-looking games to ever hit a Nintendo console, Spin the Bottle: Bumpie’s Party, has finally received a firm release date. The game—which doesn’t use your TV—will be online for download in the Wii U eShop as of August 8th.

This game is basically a series of mini-games that encourage you and your friends to engage in real-life team activities. Physical challenges like dancing, jumping, and so forth are meant to bring friends together for fun, social activities that integrate with a virtual game.

The party game will cost $8.99, and utilize the Gamepad and two Wii remotes.

If you recall from our previous updates, the developers are trying something different with this title’s pricing scheme—the cost of the game will increase as more content is added, meaning the earlier you purchase, the better the deal for you as you’ll receive the updates with no extra cost.
