New 3DS Update Brings StreetPass Relay!

It’s here! If you recall the recent announcement from Nintendo regarding the upcoming StreetPass Relay functionality—where your StreetPass data is stored in a Nintendo Zone location and then exchanged with the next person to walk past—you’re not going to have to wait any longer to start meeting more Miis!

The firmware update 6.2.0-12 has just gone live in North America and Europe, and along with the StreetPass Relay functionality, there are also several (undisclosed) improvements to system stability and some minor adjustments that will “enhance the user experience).

If you’re out and about today and happen to hit up a local Nintendo Zone with your updated 3DS, come back and let us know how it went!
