With the major release of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD on the way for the Wii U and the upcoming 3DS release of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, it seems like Zelda fever is all around us! And of course, we also have The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses currently touring in North America to help celebrate.
Naturally, this is a great opportunity for Nintendo to bring the symphony and the games together! Soon to be launched on the Nintendo Facebook page is an art contest, where artists will be able to submit their Wind Waker HD-themed masterpieces. There will be five winners chosen to receive a system and copy of the game, and the top 50 artists will have their works displayed on-screen during the symphony tour!
The King of Red Lions ship, appearing at PAX Prime next weekend, will remain in Seattle for the city’s symphony concert on September 12th. The top 5 winners of the art contest will also have their artwork displayed in the demo booth at the show.
As we write, the Facebook page hasn’t yet been updated with the contest, so we’re not sure when exactly it will begin and end—but you might want to get started now!
