It’s actually not as unthinkable as you might expect. Fans of anime know full well that having a lead character who’s, uh, well-endowed, plus over-the-top action and drama, combined with a spiritual element (angels! demons! more demons!), is pretty much the perfect recipe for a successful anime film.
There’s a Japanese site dedicated to the forthcoming Bayonetta: Bloody Fate anime film, and the animation studio—Gonzo, who was the force behind Final Fantasy Unlimited and Hellsing—has released a trailer already.
Nintendo Fire readers will know that the sequel to Bayonetta is a Wii U exclusive, and will be released on the console next year.
