Nintendo Downloads for North America

It’s time for another Nintendo Download update! This week there are two download releases of retail games you’ve been waiting for on the Wii U and 3DS, reduced Mega Man, download-only content… and more!

Wii U eShop

Coaster Crazy Deluxe (Frontier, $9.99) – A rollercoaster design game that provides tasks to keep the “Crazies” happy! Plus online leaderboards and challenges.

EDGE (Two Tribes, $1.99 until January 2nd, then $3.99) – This game was originally a smartphone / PC release, and it’s the second classic game from Two Tribes to arrive in the Wii U eShop. Players manipulate a cube though various environments in this one—it’s a clever, retro-style puzzle game.

Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths (Ynnis Interactive, $14.99) – This game is based on a Japanese / French animated series, who were able to localise the game through crowdfunding. It’s an adventure game with DLC that brings players into the story alongside what’s happening in the TV show.

Wii U Virtual Console

Brawl Brothers (HAMSTER, $7.99)

Wii U Retail Download

Super Mario 3D World (Nintendo, $59.99) – Honestly… need we say more?

Wii U & 3DS eShop Temporary Discounts

Mega Man / Mega Man 2 / Mega Man 3 / Mega Man 4 (Capcom) – Each of these titles is currently discounted to $3.49 until November 28th, after which the price will increase again to $4.99

3DS eShop

Christmas Wonderland 3 (Microvalue, $7.99) – Er…  no. Just no. Unless you liked the first two…?

Jewel Match 3 (Joindots, $6.99) – This is another match-3 game, which we’ve seen a few of on the 3DS. This one has 100 levels, and promises a dramatic storyline and “absolutely huge” levels to play. Three modes means it just might be a contender.

Ohno Odyssey (Big John Games, $5.99) – A physics-based action platformer, with 35 levels.

3DS Virtual Console

City Connection (HAMSTER, $4.99) – An NES title, with a classic 8-bit, single-screen experience.

3DS Retail Download

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (Nintendo, $39.99) – It’s the new Zelda title… here at last!

Mario Party Island Tour (Nintendo, $39.99) – We’ve been waiting for a new Mario Party game on the 3DS for ages… let’s hope this one is worth the wait! With seven level boards, 80 minigames, and a single player minigame tower (and other features), it sure sounds like the game we’ve been waiting for.

3DS eShop DLC

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies “Turnabout Reclaimed” (Capcom, $5.99) – A prequel to the cases in the main game.

Hands On! Tangrams (Enjoy Gaming, 500 points) – 10 themed levels! 100 puzzles! Potentially many hours lost!

…now, get off the computer and get playing!

Dave will tell you that he likes to play video games, this is in fact a lie. What he really likes to do is buy games, and leaving them sitting unopened on his shelf. He is a monster.
