With two movies in the bag and a third on arriving in the future, we’ve finally received a release date for LEGO The Hobbit. The game—and Bilbo—will begin their somewhat-expected journey on April 8th in North America.
The game will be featuring events from the first two films (or, uh, the first two thirds of the book, with film-related embellishments), and we’re not entirely sure what will happen with the final film/end of the book, but no doubt it’ll be taken advantage of in game form somehow (the real question is how much it’ll cost you… DLC or full retail game?).
If you’re a fan of LEGO style games, no doubt this one will be right up your alley too. You’ll be able to play on both the Wii U and 3DS, so watch the trailer below and take your pick!
