Yumi’s Odd Odyssey Journeys to North America

After two decades in Japan, the newest title in the Umihara Kawase series—Yumi’s Odd Odyssey—will make its way to the 3DS eShop on March 20th in North America. This is the first time we’ve seen this series hit North American shores, and finally Natsume Inc. feels confident enough in the digital distribution option to be able to offer it this way.

The game will cost $29.99, and players will navigate Yumi through various levels—using her fishing line and hook, figuring out how to get through each situation.

It’s ultimately a puzzle game, but the series itself has a devout following of fans both in and outside of Japan—so if you haven’t ever been able to check it out, due to locale, this may be your chance to give it a look-see.

Dave will tell you that he likes to play video games, this is in fact a lie. What he really likes to do is buy games, and leaving them sitting unopened on his shelf. He is a monster.
