If you’d planned to play the adorable title Star Parodier from Hudson Soft, your time to do so has unfortunately run out. The game has been removed, without warning, from the North American Wii Virtual Console service.
This isn’t the first title to disappear from the shop, and there usually isn’t an explanation given for why the game drops off the radar. Often, it’s licensing problems that cause the removal, but with the Wii Shop currently flying about as far under the radar as possible, it’s not always immediately apparent when this happens.
We’re hearing that the game is still available in Europe, but North Americans are out of luck. If you’d wanted to play this, sorry… guess it’s time for a trip to visit friends overseas?
