Teslagrad Getting Retail Release Alongside Digital

Wii U eShop title Teslagrad was delayed back at the end of 2013, and those who’ve seen bits and pieces of the puzzle-platformer have been eagerly awaiting any news from Rain Games concerning this anticipated title.

There was a trailer released earlier in the year, but since then we’ve heard nothing—no release date, no more news. Until now… via the developer’s Facebook page, Rain Games has let us know that it’s in partnership with SOEDESCO Benelux to release a retail edition of the game.

Will this mean a bump in the eShop price? We’re not sure, but the Wii U isn’t alone in potentially taking a hit on this title. Most rival platforms are in the same boat.

As it stands, there’s still a loose “2014” release window for the game, but we do know from the developer’s Twitter page that Teslagrad has been sent in for approval. Still, that doesn’t help those who’ve been waiting anxiously for this one for some time.
