Another Adventure Time Game On The Way

Totally math! The cast of Adventure Time are banding together to create yet another entry in the cartoon series’ video game library, despite the less-than-positive reception of the second Adventure Time game, Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW!.

Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom will be another pixellated adventure game, using the top-down aspect that players of The Legend of Zelda games will recognize right away. This third game will allow players to control both Finn and Jake either individually or at the same time, dependent on the situation.

Developer WayForward is working again closely with Pendleton Ward, Adventure Time’s creator, in order to try and retain the same humor and oddly compelling charm that’s seen in the cartoon series. Program cast members will be returning to voice act the game characters, but of course, authentic voice acting doesn’t matter if the game is a pile of crap.

Here’s hoping that WayForward has learned a thing or two from the previous games, and while nothing much is known about this third instalment yet, we do have a teaser trailer for you narrated by LSP. Oh my glob, you’ve got to check it out, okay?

Faith likes games and books and cake and writing and Lara Croft, not necessarily in that order. She also thinks a Skylanders cartoon show is a really, REALLY good idea...
