Two Debut Releases Heading to VC, Nintendo Confirms

Nintendo of America likes to tell us when new things are going to arrive in the Virtual Console, which is a pleasant surprise every time, and gets us hyped for all the games we’ll never have time to play (or, uh, re-play). Undoubtedly, this week’s announcement got many people excited, especially after last week’s excitement of two Castlevania titles heading to the Virtual Console. And what about this week?

Well, this week is perhaps just as exciting, with both the WIi U and 3DS receiving some love:

  • Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance (Wii U)
  • Harvest Moon 2 (3DS)

Both games will arrive on October 16th. Castlevania fans will know that Harmony of Dissonance is the second Wii U VC entry from the GBA games, coming right after the first game hits Wii U VC on October 9th (Circle of the Moon).

Harvest Moon 2 is a GB Color title, arriving after the first Harvest Moon dropped onto the 3DS VC last year.

Quite the big-name games heading to the Virtual Console—better start carving out some extra play time now!

Micah has been playing games since his first pong machine, and has been writing for as long as he could grip a pencil and not drool on the paper. So, for about a week.
