We’re just under two weeks into 2015, and Nintendo is ready to start your year off with a dose of excitement for their upcoming game releases. Last year, we waited on pins and needles for the first Nintendo Direct of 2014, which didn’t arrive until February—this year we get our first broadcast on January 14th!
The Nintendo Direct presentation doesn’t have a title (yet) this time around, so it’s likely that this will be one of their info-packed, general broadcasts that covers a wide range of games, products, and ideas. The press release for the event says it will feature “Mr. Iwata and crew focused on spring 2015 Wii U and Nintendo 3DS titles.”
With the New Nintendo 3DS arriving very soon, there are plenty of games to go with it that still don’t have known release dates—we’re hoping some of these will be included in the announcements happening tomorrow. And maybe a few surprises?
The broadcast will happen tomorrow at 6am PST/9am EST, and as usual, we’ll give you the highlights in the days ahead in case you’re unable to catch the broadcast yourself.
