PAX East 2015: PAX East 2015: Console Tournaments (Friday)

Heading into the BCEC today and ready to get your game on? We don’t blame you! Tournaments are a fun way to make sure you’re playing games and a mostly stress-free way to meet people—since you’re all in the same room for the same reason, it’s easy to strike up a conversation and make a new friend.

You’ll find console tournament listings below. These tournaments are “bite-sized”, meaning you won’t have to spend your entire day sitting around and waiting to play or waiting for the next round.

Tournaments last an absolute max of 4 hours and have smaller player caps, so be sure to check the maps around the convention center to find the sign-up area. Signups usually begin at 10am, with practice time from 10-11am for the tournaments happening each day of PAX East (the case in previous years, but we’ll adjust our info if it changes for this year). These will fill up quickly, so sign up ASAP!

And because we’re Nintendo Fire, well… we’ve highlighted what we know to be Nintendo hardware tournaments. Let’s be honest, that’s what you’re really here for, right?

Dave will tell you that he likes to play video games, this is in fact a lie. What he really likes to do is buy games, and leaving them sitting unopened on his shelf. He is a monster.
