September Release for Mighty No. 9

We finally have release dates for the latest title from Keiji Inafune’s Comcept studio: Mighty No. 9. No, it won’t arrive this spring, and yes, you’ve been waiting a long time… but it’s coming to the Wii U on September 15th and that’s that. There will also be a physical retail version for the Wii U as well as the expected eShop version—though the 3DS version won’t be coming along until “a later point.”

Presently, Comcept has teamed with Deep Silver, a German publisher who has handled other franchises like Metro and Dead Island. Thanks to this partnership, there will be additional language options, an extra stage and boss battle in what’s being called “Ray” DLC—which all Kickstarter backers will receive (and it’ll appear in the boxed retail version).
