Miiverse Update Sends Users Into a Tizzy

With Miiverse’s launch in 2012 on the Wii U, Nintendo’s social media platform has seen its fair share of changes—as anyone would expect from a social media service, right? They’ve been providing regular updates and upgrades, enhancing the experience and streamlining various elements to make it a better service on the whole.

That said, along with improved performance and safety also comes the challenge of pleasing everyone—which nothing ever will. And it’s expected that mistakes will happen. The most recent update to Miiverse has seen an adjustment that’s got users in a frenzy, mostly the negative kind.

The update improves the display speed times, but will only display one post per friend you’re following.

Take a look at Erika’s Miiverse post with the update. How do you feel about it?

Hi Miiverse friends! There is a new update for Miiverse today. Your Activity Feed for the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and web versions will now show only one post per friend or user that you are following, and that will be their latest post. This will improve the display speed! If you touch the arrow on the right, next to the post (Wii U) or below the post (Nintendo 3DS), you will be able to see all of the posts made by that user. Let me know what you think of the new update! 🙂

Dave will tell you that he likes to play video games, this is in fact a lie. What he really likes to do is buy games, and leaving them sitting unopened on his shelf. He is a monster.
