The first Splatfest in North American took place over the weekend, on July 4th to be exact, running from 3pm EST and ending 24 hours later. The teams were Cats vs. Dogs, and the question everyone wants answered is… who won?
The overall winner is: Team Dogs!
Team Dogs achieved 160 points vs. 140 points for Team Cats, but there were a few other interesting statistics upon login as well. It turns out that Team Cats actually won 51% of matches as compared to Team Dogs’s 49% wins—but the great number of players on Team Dog (62% of Splatfest players) overwhelmed the Team Cats (38% of Splatfest players) by sheer popularity.
