We’re about to have another round of maintenance on the Nintendo network this weekend, with downtime of around ten hours (!). It will happen after Splatfest, however, so it won’t impact your ability to become a Pokémon Red Queen, for example.
According to the announcement, the downtime will only affect “some network services”, so that doesn’t exactly specify that the online gaming or eShop aspects will be down the whole time—though we wouldn’t recommend counting on it and scheduling a marathon Mario Kart 8 session, for example.
Here’s when it will happen:
– Beginning Sunday, Feb. 21st at 8pm EST – until Monday, Feb. 22nd at 6am EST
– Super Mario Maker’s web bookmark service will be down from Monday, Feb. 22nd at midnight EST – until Tuesday, Feb. 23rd at 1am EST.
