Minecraft: Wii U Edition has been a long time coming to the console, but it seems like the perfect choice for system. While it’s already on the eShop, the Nintendo exclusive DLC is still to come (with the details remaining a mystery). There was quite an update last week, and so far it’s been well received. But what about those players for whom downloading the game isn’t all that appealing?
The official Minecraft Twitter account has posted an announcement that Minecraft: Wii U Edition will in fact be receiving a physical retail release sometime in the near future! We don’t know when (just “soon”) but we doubt it’ll be all that long.
Check out the Tweet—they sound excited, so we anticipate it arriving in the very near future!
