Donkey Kong has long since been a much sought after record among-st competitive gamers. This has only become more intense with the extremely well done documentary King of Kong.
On May 5th, previous world record holder Wes Copeland once again set the highest score ever Recorded at 1,218,000 points. If that’s not impressive in and of itself, he also accomplished this feat on a single life!
Copeland had previously set his goal at 1.2 million points and believes he will never best this score. That’s why he’s decided to retire from the competitive Donkey Kong scene. If you REALLY like Donkey Kong and you have three hours of spare time, you can watch the whole run here:
