Months and months ago, we told you about a Kickstarter for The NES Visual Compendium book…and you may have heard that in the days before it would have successfully completed, Nintendo served a cease & desist. It sounded ludicrous that they’d step in, but now we have a better idea why—they had their own book in the works!
Fortunately, Nintendo and the Kickstarter team of Bitmap Books were able to solve their dispute, and we have a “love letter to Nintendo fans” coming out as an official hardcover published by Prima Games. The title is Playing with Power: Nintendo NES Classics, and will have plenty for you to pore over:
