Fans of Pokémon games who’ve been playing on varying devices for a while likely set a timer to wake up and start playing this one immediately… but if you’re a recent Poké-convert—say, for example, during the recent popularity explosion of Pokémon GO—you might be interested in this new mobile title, Pokémon Duel on both iOS and Android!
The game was originally titled Pokémon Comaster and it’s actually had a decent lifespan in Japan already. The gameplay is more typical of a standard board game where you build up a team, strengthen your position as you move around, and then battle (sounds like chess to anyone else?).
In Pokémon Duel, you’ll be able to play online against an opponent and, of course, spend your hard-earned cash on microtransactions should you so desire.
