At this year’s E3, Arc System Works unveiled a new Dragon Ball game featuring team-based combat, slated for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Of all the Dragon Ball games available on the market, this particular title—Dragon Ball FighterZ—looks like it will be the most accurate and faithful representation of the incredibly popular anime show.
And with all of the above state, there’s currently no Switch release scheduled. That doesn’t mean it won’t happen, however. With Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 already heading to the console, it has more to do with supply and demand. According to producer Tomoko Hiroki, if the fans want to see the game on Switch, the game may come to the Switch.
In other words, get out there and make some noise. The Switch version would of course release after all the other editions, but if you want a portable version of this title, you need to make your voice heard so that the developer knows there’s enough interest to make it worth their while. In a world where consumers dictate the marketplace more than ever, each email or social media post about it can and will make a difference.
