If you’ve played Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, you might be among those who loved the game, but who felt a little bit cheated by the content. However, WayForward has been hard at work to provide additional content for the game, the first episode being a new storyline where you play Risky Boots as she heads out on her own.
Pirate’s Queen Quest drops next week on August 29th, and will cost $10USD for anyone who wasn’t a Kickstarter backer of the original game.
Sequentially, Pirate’s Queen Quest follows the events of Half-Genie Hero. You’ll play Risky through the same levels, but they’ll be remixed and enjoy new character abilities, a new overarching quest, and plenty of collectibles.
