“The Start” of a Nintendo Relationship, Says Bethesda

Are you still reeling from shock after that Nintendo announcement last week? We are, too. With DOOM and Wolfenstein 2 heading to the Switch, fans started to wonder what this meant for the partnership. Was this a one-time thing? The company maybe testing the waters on the console? Well, Bethesda’s head honcho Pete Hines went ahead and spoke to Venturebeat about these two title as well as Skyrim coming to the Switch:

“We’ve been in constant conversation with [Nintendo], and not just about the two games we have now, but about our whole approach to the platform going forward – what we can do, best practices, what things are a good fit, what they’re excited about in what we’re doing. We’re obviously excited about these two games, but it’s not as if we’re going to just do these two games and that’s it. We want this to be the start of a relationship that we build with Nintendo and Nintendo fans.”

It’s a very positive attitude, that’s quite certain—and definitely hopeful for some additional intriguing releases to come on Switch from Bethesda.
