Ten years later, De Blob has been remastered and is heading to the Nintendo Switch! It originally appeared on the Wii in 2008 (which, now that I type that sentence out, seems obvious in conjunction with the “ten years later” statement), and was received well.
Publisher THQ Nordic is giving us a new version with improved textures to match the abilities of the Switch, but the color-coded platforming style of gameplay will remain the same.
Your task in the game, if you’re new to this title, is to save a black & white city from its sad state by coloring it in a multitude of shades—and along with story mode, there’s multiplayer and multiple modes to play through here as well.
A release date has yet to be announced, but at least we know it’s coming. Nostalgia, engage!
