Yoshi’s Crafted World Demo on eShop

Today’s Nintendo Direct offered up a treat for fans of Yoshi games, as well as those who enjoy the “crafted” aesthetic of certain Yoshi and Kirby titles in recent years. A demo for the upcoming Yoshi’s Crafted World is now available on the Switch eShop in advance of the game’s release on March 29th.

Additional footage from this title was shared during the presentation, confirming over 180 different costumes to unlock, including an outfit inspired by Nintendo Labo… and what appears to be, uh, straight-up garbage. Well, this will make for some interesting conversations when kids don’t want their moms to throw out empty juice boxes because “Yoshi needs it.” Have fun, parents!

“Yoshi’s Crafted World™: Before Yoshi’s Crafted World launches on March 29, Nintendo Switch owners can head to Nintendo eShop to download a free demo for the artfully handcrafted game starting today! In the Yoshi’s Crafted World game, players can explore the Front and Flip-Side of stages while rafting, racing solar cars, tearing through the sky on a plane and experiencing many other wild and surprising gameplay sequences. Using coins collected through the varied and secret-filled levels, players can unlock 180 different crafted costumes that Yoshi can wear.”

Dave will tell you that he likes to play video games, this is in fact a lie. What he really likes to do is buy games, and leaving them sitting unopened on his shelf. He is a monster.
