Heading into the BCEC today and ready to get your game on? The con is ready for you, too! And we’ve got your console tournament listings right here. These tournaments are “bite-sized”, meaning you won’t have to spend your entire day waiting to play or waiting for the next round.
Tournament registration begins at 10am on the day of each tournament. You’re welcome to practice in Console Freeplay or Classic Console Freeplay, but make sure you check in for each tournament at fifteen minute before it begins. There will be a waiting list, so don’t lose your space!
While the official program lists all the console tournaments, we’re focusing on Nintendo systems and games relevant to Nintendo-fan interests here because… that’s what we do. Have fun!
- 1:00pm-3:00pm – Mario Kart Double Dash (GameCube)
- 2:00pm-4:00pm – Windjammers (could be Nintendo Switch, PS4, Wii or other console)
- 3:00pm-5:00pm – Thursday Mystery Tournament (???this could be anything, not necessarily Nintendo)
- 4:00pm-5:00pm – Towerfall Ascension (could be Switch, Xbox One, or PS4)
- 5:00pm-7:00pm – Super Smash Bros. Melee (Casual) (GameCube)
- 6:00pm-8:00pm – Duck Game (could be Switch, Xbox One, PS4 or Ouya)
- 8:00pm-10:00pm – Puyo Puyo Tetris (could be Switch or PS4)
- 9:00pm-11:00pm – Goldeneye 007 (could be N64 or Wii)
