Well, today has yet another full slew of panels we think might be of interest to our readership, so we’re going to highlight them right here before you head out to tackle the day. These are either Nintendo-themed or connected to Nintendo in some way, either through topic, concept, or gaming history.
Remember that all our suggestions are subjective, so do flip through the program on your own for more information or to see what else is on offer.

Video games and Hollywood have been joined at the hip since the ’70s, but that long-lasting relationship has resulted in some dreadful children. We’ll explore the worst of them through the years in this retrospective panel, from wildly inappropriate licensed games like the kid-oriented NES tie-in to Oliver Stone’s grim war movie Platoon to Hollywood’s dismal, decades-long track record of game-to-film adaptations.

We’ve carried the ultimate list of “the best Pokemon” from PAX to PAX. Now that we are returning to PAX East with this list, we can finally… hopefully… maybe… decide the best Pokemon with your help! A group of panelist will be present to take your considerations and arguments in for the “best” Pokemon. After you plead your case, we’ll decide where it will fit on our ultimate list!

Game Show Night Presents: Double NintenDare! – 10:30pm-11:30pm (Bumblebee Theatre)
On your mark… get set… GO! Double NintenDare is back for a second round at PAX East! It’s a Nintendo-themed throwback to the classic kids game show of a similar name. Put your knowledge and skill of classic and current Nintendo games to the test by answering tricky trivia questions and taking on our special “Digital Challenges”. Each player will receive fabulous prizes, and we’ll play some classic 90s commercials in between rounds.
